Hi everybody!

My movie finally called "Training Wheels" was screened on Friday night at the Warner Brothers Studios. "Going Nowhere Fast", the film I edited, also. I received my diploma so I'm done with the one year program from the New York Film Academy.

The next step is the editing program also at NYFA starting in January. To follow this adventure, I have created another blog which is called My Dream Coming True.

Mon film que j'ai finalement nommé "Training Wheels" a été projeté dans les studios Warner Brothers. "Going Nowhere Fast", le film que j'ai monté, également. J'ai reçu mon diplôme et j'ai donc terminé le programme d'une année de la New York Film Academy.

La prochaine étape sera le cours de montage également à la NYFA qui commence en janvier. Pour suivre cette prochaine aventure, j'ai créé un autre blog: My Dream Coming True.

Almost Finished

English:

It is 1:30 am and I gave back my film about 2 hours ago. The pressure of the deadline is gone and the great work of all the people I worked with will be screened on Friday.

I can't believe that the One Year Program is almost done. We still have 2 days of classes and then we will all go to the real world called Hollywood after the graduation at Warner Brothers and a party somewhere on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Well, I'm ready to be a good editor. At least a good Assistant Editor to start with.

Il est presque deux heures du matin et il y a environ 2h00, j'ai rendu mon film. La pression s'est envolée et le superbe boulot de tout le monde sera projeté vendredi.

Je ne peux presqe pas croire que le program d'une année est presque terminé. On a encore deux jours de classe et après la graduation aux Studios Warner et la fête à quelque part sur Santa Monica, bonjour le monde réel de Hollywood

Bref, je pense être prêt pour être un bon monteur. En tous cas, un bon assistant pour commencer.

Weekend In San Diego

Good morning everyone,

We went to San Diego this weekend to meet Muriel and Robert. It was my first time at their place, and this house is just wonderful.

We spent time outside, we were in the jaccuzzi for a while and our bedroom (check picture on the right) was gorgeous. We even saw a film called "Bowfinger" on their bigscreen Sony TV.

It was a great time and I relaxed a lot from my crazy editing job from Hollywood for our Thesis Films. So, I'm ready to get back to work.

Bonjour à tous,

On a été à San Diego ce weekend où on a recontré Muriel et Robert. C'était la première fois que j'allais chez eux. Leur maison est magnifique.

On était dehors, on était même dans le jaccuzzi extérieur pour un moment et notre chambre (jetez un coup d'oeil à la photo sur la droit enhaut) était incroyable. On a également regardé un film qui s'appelle "Bowfinger" sur leur grand écran Sony.

C'était un moment très agréable et relaxant. Je me suis bien reposé de mon boulot de fou hollywoodien sur les films finaux. Je suis donc fin prêt à me relancer dans la gueule du loup.

Un tout grand merci à Muriel et Robert. Profitez de vos vacances.

Christina Aguilera

I just wanted to let you know that the last album of Christina Aguilera is phenomenal! It's a great CD with great songs, a little jazzy. Her voice is still amazing and she doesn't yell anymore, or at least much less which is much more comfortable for the eyes.

10th & Wolf

Hi everyone!

Yesterday was a big day for me. I went to a movie Premiere from a film produced by one of our teacher. Suzanne invited all the students of the New York Film Academy.

The movie is called "10th & Wolf" and the cast is composed by people like James Marsden, Giovanni Ribisi, Piper Perabo, Tommy Lee, Val Kilmer and Dennis Hopper. The last one, Dennis Hopper was sitting 2 rows behind me. That was pretty impressive.

News From Los Angeles

Hello!

Some news from this amazing city.

The price of the gas is going down really fast, from USD 3.50 per gallon (3,6 litters) a couple of weeks ago to only USD 2.85.

And this morning when I went to school, it was raining. Unbelievable, I hadn't seen rain for months. Fabienne saw rain for the first time since she arrived in May.

Last but not least, my graduation will take place in about one week and my movie "Walking" based on my story from 1997, will be screened in the Warner Brothers Studios.

Quelques nouvelles de cette incroyable ville.

Le prix de l'essence est en chute libre. De 3,50 dollars le gallon (3,6 littres) il y a quelques semaines à seulement 2,85 dollars.

Et ce matin, en allant à l'école, il pleuvait. Incroyable, je n'avais pas vu de pluie pendant des mois. Fabienne a vu la pluie pour la première fois depuis qu'elle est arrivée en mai.

Pour finir, ma remise de diplôme aura lieu dans environ une semaine et mon film "Walking", qui retrace mon histoire de 1997 sera projeté dans les studios Warner Brothers.

Swiss Friends

Second visit of Swiss Friends here in Los Angeles. After Keren in May, Pierre-Daniel and Herve came to California on vacation and stopped by. It was nice to show them a few things they didn't know.

We went to the Hooters in Hollywood, French Market in Venice Beach, on the Beach in Venice and finally in Pasadena at the Twin Palms restaurant.

Very nice weekend we enjoyed a lot.
Next visit beginning of October.

Deuxième visite d'ami suisses ici à Los Angeles. Après Keren en mai, Pierre-Daniel et Hervé sont venu en Californie en vacances et sont venus nous dire bonjour. C'était très sympa de leur montrer 2 ou 3 petites choses qu'ils ne connaissaient pas.

Last News

Hi to everybody!

I haven't written a lot the last few days.

There are some things going on anyway here in Los Angeles like as you know, I'm back to school and editing 2 movies for the final screening and graduation on September 22nd.

So, I spend a lot of time in front of Apple Computers with my brand new 500GB harddrive editing "Walking" and "Going Nowhere Fast". It's a lot of fun but also a lot of work.

I took a couple of hours off to see our friends who came from San Diego to Venice Beach last weekend and also for a wrap party on Sunday at Rob's place. He is one of my classmate.

The most important thing these last day was of course Fabi's birthday. We didn't go far but we went to a very nice Mexican restaurant in Sun Valley called Acapulca.

I hope that you haven't missed my posts to much :-)

Je n'ai pas écrit grand chose ces derniers jours.

Il y a tout de même 2 ou 3 choses qui se passent par ici à Los Angeles. Comme vous le savez, je suis de retour en classe et je fais le montage de 2 films pour la projection finale, qui est aussi notre graduation, le 22 septembre.

Je passe donc pas mal de temps en face des ordinateurs Apple avec mon tout nouveau tout beau disque dur externe de 500GB en train de monter "Walking" et "Going Nowhere Fast". C'est vraiment cool mais egalement enormement de travail

J'ai pris congé quelques heures pour voir nos amis qui sont venus de San Diego à Venice Beach le weekend dernier ainsi que pour une "wrap party" chey Rob. C'est un de mes camarades de classe.

Mais la chose la plus importante ces derniers jours était bien sûr l'anniversaire à Fabi. On a pas été très loin mais on a trouvé un restaurant mexicain très sympa à Sun Valley, l'Acapulco.

J'espère que mes messages ne vous ont pas trop manqués :-)
