Movies In Theater

I saw two movies yesterday at the AMC Theater 16 in Burbank. Fabienne and I went to see Miami Vice with Ajani, Jose and his girlfriend Teresa. We all agreed that the movie is really bad. The first experience of Michael Mann's DP (Dion Beebe) using a HD camera was maybe his last one. His much better with film.

Fabienne and I stayed for a second movie. "World Trade Center" from Oliver Stone is impressive, it's not what I expected. Nothing about "America is the best country of the world, we all survived, etc...". It's about 2 guys based on a true story. 20 people were found in the rubble of the World Trade Center after it fell down and they are 2 of them. Nicolas Cage and Michael Pena are fabulous and bring the emotions on an incredible level.

J'ai vu deux films hier dans le cinéma AMC Theater 16. Fabienne et moi avons été voir Miami Vice avec Ajani, Jose et Teresa. On est tous d'accord sur le fait que le film n'est pas bon. La première experience Haute Définition du Directeur de la Photographie de Michael Mann (Dion Beebe) n'est pas convaincante du tout. Il va probablement s'en tenir là et continuer à travailler sur du film.

Nous sommes restés les deux pour un deuxième film. "World Trade Center" d'Oliver Stone est impressionnant et pas à quoi je m'attendais. Rien à voir avec "L'Amérique est le pays le plus puissant du monde, Nous avons survécu, etc...". C'est basé sur des faits réels de deux policiers restés coincés dans les décombres du World Trade Center. 20 personnes ont été retrouvées vivantes et ce sont deux d'entres elles. Nicolas Cage et Michael Pena sont fabuleux et amène l'émotion à fleur de peau.

Bon film!
